My wife and I want to spend New Year's in Vegas, We are bringing our kids for the first time. Figuring on arriving Wednesday and leaving on Saturday.

However on New Year's Eve it will just be me and the lady. Where's a good place to hang out and party that night? I have seen a few things at different hotels.

I am looking for something fun like a night club or a spot with good music and dancing and good drinks. Not looking to break the bank, maybe no more than $150ea for admission/ticket.

Also if anyone has the hook-up or can get me into something nice I would appreciate it.

Thanks for any info........

Sorry dude, most of the Vegas peeps have been totally burnt out since NSXPO (including this one).

Vegas in New Year's is bedlam, anarchy, post apocalyptic. I've done it a few times and all the rules go right out the window. Just too many variables to even begin unless you can say specifically what you want to do.

Is it just New years Eve thats crazy or is everything crowded amd crazy in the days leading up to New Years?

Since I would be taking my kids we would just be doing mostly sight seeing for a couple days. Then the wife and I were planning on hanging out at a club or event for New Years Eve.

I see that the New York New York is having a private party on their bridge for $125 each. Might do that.

Sorry most of us are no help...I have lived here for almost 7 years and have never done new years on the strip...just not my thing...actually nothing on the strip is really my thing, the only times I have ventured down there are when friends and family are in town

I did it once and will never do it again. It's too hectic and crazy. It reminded me of Mardi Gras. As for the clubs of events, it's gonna be very pricey and packed no matter where u go. I like what Bryan said, there are too many different options for you and it all depends and what "you" like.
