Hey guys, could someone point me in the right direction. I'm looking for some Axis wheels and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a good deal. Websites or phone numbers?
Thanks
Z

z,

northeast auto design carries axis wheels, talk to mike. great place to deal with. which rims are you looking at?? axis seven three-piece?? watch out, those cost an arm and leg, but the regular axis seven are dirt cheap. here's their site. www.forperformance.com

i forget the website but just google axis wheels and you'll find it. if you call the headquarters they'll locate the nearest stores that sell them to your zip code.

KellyJoe-
Thanks, I gave them an email for a quote, but they replied asking me to call. So I'll give them a call alittle later today.

JChin-
I actually got a quote from them, but I found one website that has slightly cheaper pricing. Thank thou, I'm still on the fence about these wheels.

Rmani-
I did a google search and didnt find anything?

What I'm looking at are the AXIS SUPER MESH wheels, with the following set up:
2-18x8 frts(2inch lip) I believe
2-19x9.5 rears(3.5 inch lip!!)

Tires:
Nitto NT555
215/35/18 frts
265/30/19 rears

5inch-
I'll give him a call later. Thanks

KellyJoe-
I didn't see the AXIS Super Mesh wheels on their website either, but they are new wheels, so maybe the website hasn't been up dated? I was going to give them a call and see if they could possibly order them!? Thanks

z,

give them the quote from the other place and they'll beat it. plus ask them for free shipping, like they promote for the volk rims! talk to mike. i'm telling you, the price can be worked out.

Jay, thanks for the info. I've sent out some emails to get an idea what a good price for the wheels would be. After I get some replies, I'll talk to Mike at Forperformance and see what kindof deal he can work out for me. Appreciate the heads up!!

Also, opinions about these wheels??

Although they look fantastic, my friends (who own those wheels) told me that AXIS' new Super Mesh and Se7en Mod rims, both featuring deep lips, are extremely heavy (this explains the relatively lower cost of the rims). If that does not bother you, go for it. They look awesome!

Tiger740-
Yeah, here are the weights:
18x8 fronts are 22lbs each
19x9.5 rears are 25lbs each

Are they really heavy? I'm not really concerned with the weight, but I don't know much about how wheels weight.
But if I was looking to get light weight wheels, I'd be looking into some nice Volks or some nice wheels from Dali or SOS. Also I'd want 16/17's or 17/18's. Since this is 100% purely cosmetic for my garage queen, I'm looking at these affordable 18/19 Axis wheels. If I track the car, I still have my OEM wheels.

Anyways, still on the fence about the wheels. If I get an awesome price, I'll buy them. Thanks for the opinions and information guys, keep it coming!!
Best Regards
Z

That's not bad at all. I was thinking that they were close to 30lbs, but low 20s for 18'' rims are not too heavy!! Good luck! I would love to see how they look on NSX!

z,

are you kidding me? these rims look awesome! they have a nice fat lip like my volks. weights look decent to me considering being 18/19 combo. besides, i think 18/19 are solely for cosmetic looks and not for track purpose. it's a steal at a list price of about $1300. you will be able to get it a lot cheaper than that. damn, i thought i got a good deal on my volks(which i did) but this is ridiculous. but if you decide to keep it all japanese on your car and want the same style, i suggest the volk gt-u which come out in may. i would defintely consider these axis rims for the most bang for the buck. did you check out there website pix of these rims? they have them on an A6 and slammed E430. damn, they look nice! good luck and post a pic when you get them. c'mon you know you getting these!

Thanks for the opinions...
Yes, I saw the axis wheels website and the Silver BENZo has the DEEEP dish rims on the back!! I think these wheels will look sweet on my NSX. My cars black on ivory with ~ 2 inch drop, Comptech exhaust. So far the best price for the wheels I've gotten is $1100. I'll probably go ahead and order them next week.

Sorry about digging this thread up from the grave but im wondering if you ended getting those axis super mesh wheels as im contemplating getting them. If so how do you like them? If not why not?

Best to call axis and see if they have any fitment available for NSX.
Supermesh most likely will not fit due to the spoke design interfering with brakes.

So Far.. the only successful axis fitmentI've seen is the Mod. 18x7.5 and 20x9

BTW Hiro is not available in 18" yet. but that is a promising fitment when 18" gets here.
