Anyone in the South OC - Irvine, Laguna, San Juan Capistrano area..... know ANY nice little places to grab a cocktail? Around like 9pm on a Monday night?

Irvine Spectrum has quite a few bars. The people are too eh... too each their own.
I like real bars. Good beer, honest price. No hollywood. Check out Goat Hill Tavern in Costa Mesa. One of my favorite places to drink at. Something like 140 beers on tap. Peanut shells on the floor type place.
If that is too ghetto for you, Yard House is right across the street. Careful with the trannies that frequent the area lol.

I'll have to check that place out, not too sure about those trannies though. But indeed, I do like the homely feeling places, such as peanut shells on the ground. Thanks for the input

For Goat hill Tavern...
If you go during the day, you will have most of the bar to yourself. There is also parking in the back. If you have a motorcycle, you will appreciate how close you get to park to the bar door/security.
It gets packed on the weekends, but generally the people are very cool, lots of girls, and great beer. Also some very good foosball players play there on a regular basis.
No trannies at Goathill. Yardhouse be careful.
