Im curious, I had a clutch installed some time ago, and I am wondering where its supposed to release or engage. I would say I have about 7-8 inches of travel. I think the clutch engages at the very top, about 2 inches in.

I think its too high.. is this adjustable in any way? or is this the way it is supposed to be?

The clutch pedal is adjustable. The reason why it feels much different is that you now have a new clutch and it will feel different than you have previously felt with your old dying clutch. It takes about 5-10 minutes to adjust, no big deal really. I saw that you posted that Larry at NSX Modified, did your clutch, just go back have him look at it and he could adjust it to the way you like it.

Digging up an old thread because I'm curious about this issue, and because I feel the clutch on my X engages close to the full "out" position as well.

Can the clutch adjustment to lower the engage point be a DIY project as well?

And do most of you have your clutch engage "high" -- ie, near the full "out" position. I heard this is true of a number (majority?) of X's.

Regards.
