Ive got an 02 with the new CTSC on it. After 6 weeks of trouble free bliss (excepting for a faulty fuel line which was easily replaced), my CEL went on last night.

I am buying an OBDII reader today, but Im going to have to act quickly because Ive got a track day on Monday that would be horrific (and expensive) to miss.

So, where can I find a list of codes so that when it comes up, I can quickly look it up to see what the issue is?

TIA.

The codes (and references to diagnostic procedures) are listed in the service manual, at the start of the Fuel section. If you intend to work on your own car, you should buy one if you haven't already done so. You can get one here. (I don't know if a Canadian-specific version is available, but the differences between the CM and USM versions are minor.)

A pdf version of the '91 manual is available on this site in the Reference section of the FAQ. I don't know whether they changed the definition of any of the codes, or their associated diagnostic procedures, between '91 and '02. They probably kept the existing codes the same (and may have simply added new ones), but I'm guessing.

Or, you could take it to your local mechanic or dealer...

Did you even interrogate google before posting this question???

OBDII codes are pretty much standardized (THAT was the main point of OBDII along with sensor extension).

Now there are reserved codes that each manufacturer to define on their own. If you want these: you will have either have to consult your OBDII reader software and/or Honda service manuals.

Thanks for that link Drew - I didnt know that they were general codes which is why I asked here.

And about my avatar - I think you're missing the point. Maybe I should change it - you've not been the only one to comment.

Thanks for the link!
