haha, ready for more video clips?

John Wayne airport also has one, but not quite as long as the one near LAX. I hope we don't get into trouble making noise in the tunnel.

There's:
105 W to the 405 S.
105 E. to the 405 S.
110 S. to the 405 S.
Lakewood or Bellflower Blvd N just North of the 405 - goes under the LB Airport
210 S. onto the 134 E.

Malibu Canyon Road (2) and Kanan Dune Road (4) are long and noisy

I think there's one in Griffith Park somewhere. Also the Pasadena FWY (110) Between downtown and Pasadena has a few....... Kanan Dune road is a blast !!!

long beach airport.

spring and lakewood.

take 405N exit lakewood north. that will get you to the first tunnel
want to take a second run?
make a left on spring, there you will hit the second tunnel.

if you are a good driver, and your car is set up pretty nice. you can hit 3rd gear and do a triple digit.

dont pull a some German guy named "Dietrich".

shocking news at 10
prince william's NSX cut in half.

Lolz..what can i say, I'm loving the new exhaust. Hearing it scream under tunnels just gives me that natural high. If there was anyway to use the sound of my exhaust on an alarm clock, I'd be one very happy man and every morning would start off with a smile:biggrin:

Did you really put a 360 muffler on your car? How did it fit?

Yeah, finally did it. It fits really nice, I does hang pretty low and it is sort of heavy, its a true quad tip which is really nice, and I had the tips staggered for a cooler appearance, but the sound is amazing. I can't seem to get it over it, and sometimes when i'm at home, I have the urge to start the car, and just rev it. Call me crazy, I know:biggrin: I think I finally found the sound that i wanted, although I may try a capristo or x-ost maranello in the future. Also, any person who says the NSX is uncapable of having a high pitched exhaust note is simply incorrect. I can't wait to get headers, but the Ztek groupbuy is questionable. I don't think I can wait any longer, but headers and a very light flywheel should enhance the sound even more.

So if this is a stock 360 exhaust system:

How did you mount it to the car? Upside down?

I think it is installed upside down. I'm not really sure, but i took the muffler shop about 5 hours to fit and install the exhaust, so I believe it was somewhat of a complicated job.

That seems like it would look 'interesting' - do you have any straight on shots of your retrofitted exhaust system? Factory (used) F360 exhausts can sell in the $400-$500 range, if it sounds as good as you describe perhaps this could be a popular retrofit?

I'll try to post some pics today or tomorrow. I finally bought myself a digi-cam. I'd like to also post some soundclips, but unfortunately sound quality recordings on my digital camera don't do the exhaust any justice.

Glad you finally found an exhaust that satisfied your high pitch sound preference. It must be that good + now your NSX really have real Ferrari DNA:smile:. Hat off for for taking the time and getting it to work.

If you want I can take some highly quality sound clips for you next Saturday at Crystal Cove, I am 90% sure that I will be going.

Shoot!, I will be in Laughlin for the weekend:frown: Do you think you'll be available next next weekend? I've been looking forward to getting soundclips of my car.

Downtown LA Figueroa and 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. Lots of Hollywood films by that tunnel.

Got to ride with Will a last weekend....the muffler is pretty cool sounding. At idle it sounds bubbly like if the motor has some wild cams. Driving at low rpms it sounds stock or a little louder. At vtec its starts to scream and gives a high pitched super bike like noise. It was pretty cool to check out and the fit looked pretty good from what I can see. Good stuff will enjoy your new muffler.
