40 new Atlantics ordered. Mazda teamed with Cosworth and replacing Toyota in the Atlantics. Pro Formula Mazda drivers entering the series. Should bode well for the future of Champ Car.

I chatted with Tagliani's engineer @ a bar a few months ago and heard all of the "Cosworth" Atlantic news. It will out run a Champcar 0-100!

I can't wait for the year to start.

Also as far as financial status, Champcar is even stronger this year. The required budget to run a car for a season is rediculously low compared to even last year, and crazy low compared to 5 years ago. This will free up money for promotion, which Champcar never had the funds to do correctly.

Oh yeah Danica your FTG 15 min are up, a real driver has entered. Her name is Kathrine Legge.

Oh yeah the IRL is in a poor state, and the bottom could drop out when Honda bails in a few years.

Can't wait to see how Ms. Legge handles one of these. Actually, pretty excited to see Danica back out there too.

Atlantics should be super awesome this year.

And really, can't wait for '07.

My car club is teaming up with the Toronto Grand Prix (formerly the Molson Indy) in organizing a national meet this summer. Should be fun!
