The only price reductions that need to happen at this point are cars being offered at MSRP without a bunch of overpriced carbon ad ons, and having iron brakes available. As far as there being some cars sitting around in dealer inventory unsold, I expect some are being kept by dealer principals and remain on wholesale for a while because of the cheap rates that they have available to them. Around here new vehicles can sit in inventory for a year before they have to be paid out. Then they can be put in used vehicle inventory after that. As time goes on they can be written down as they are "demonstrators". As long as the dealer is making enough profit to need write offs, they can buy these cars personally down the road for some pretty handsome deals.
