If you get the H & R spacers, they bolt on directly to original studs and spacer comes with integrated new studs & centering lip
I believe Dali has them, as well as numerous other internet sources
Are there any limitations to using the 25mm hub adapters with stock wheels (15"/16") and tires.......ie....1)tire/fender clearence? 2) alignment nd to be reset (and if so what are the recommended changes)? 3) how does it affect handling of a stock suspension....are there any downsides that one should be aware of? 4) are there advantage/disadvage to using the 15mm spacers instead? Thanks.
Re: the before mentioned post.....has anybody had any experience with the 15mm or 25mm spacers? How does it affect bearing life? Also, are there any pictures of the car with the two offsets to see how the wheel sits in the wheel housings?
The big dis-advantage with the 15mm (DRS model) relative to the 25mm (DRM model), is that the while the DRM comes with integrated studs and are simple bolt-on, the DRS comes with longer studs with which you need to replace the stock items - NOT a trivial job (need to pull the hubs)
Be sure to order the appropriate part # for the fronts & rears - they are the same bolt pattern (114.3 x 5) but have different hub center bore diamter (64mm on the rear, 70mm on the fronts)
I currently have that exact set-up. I put Eibach springs on my '91 car in the fall and decided to wait until spring to purchase my 17/18 aftermarket wheels. With the car lowered on stock 15/16 wheels, they appeared recessed too far in. I put on the 25mm spacers which pushed the wheels out and gave the car a much more agressive stance. Looks pretty good with the stock wheels. I still plan on buying Volk GT-C in a couple of months. My wife is out of town with my digital camera. I'll try to post pics next week.
