Wheel Spacers

Wheel spacer requirements for the NSX should be no different from any other car with 5x114. Wheel spacers themselves vary wildly based on material/quality/desired width/method of attachment (if any).

Any idea how wide you need them? Locally you could talk to optionJDM (if you know exactly what you want to order), speedstar (pricier but plenty of NSX owners are clients and they can advise), there's others but I'd start with one of those two shops. Also, much better to go in if you have the time and chat vs. call on the phone (phone service I find is awful with these shops since so many people call up for prices, then order from the USA).

hth.

lol...haven't bought rims yet dude..I was hoping to adjust the stock ones temporarily to line up with the fenders but didn't know where to go for the right help....this isn't my 350z that I just want to call random stores for. Thanks for the suggestion evil I appreciate it. Gonna drop by and get the skinny. I don't mind spending a little extra if that gets me the right stuff. Not gonna do it if the prices are ridiculous. I'll wait till I get the wheels I want (Advan RS 18/17 :) ) and see if I still need the spacers.

You won't really need spacers with the RS's in the standard NSX sizes (Off the top of my head 18x10 +35 and 17x8 +37). I use a 3mm in the front and 5mm in the rear, but still looks fairly flush without them.

i got my spacers from SOS. I have a later model like yours with matching rims and the best spacers to get will be 25mm rear and 15mm front.

BTW, if im not mistaken the RS come in different offsets so you may not need spacers to get that flush look.

I just installed mine plus the BBK. they are flush and look damn sweet!!!

Got spacers... Kicks bolt on that has it's own thread. 25mm rear fit properly with stock rims but the bolts in the front stuck out too far through the 15mm spacers for the front and the wheels wouldn't go on so needed to get a different setup for the front.

confused. This shouldn't be an issue. Do you mean the size of the studs are now too long for the lug nuts? If this is the case, get some open ended lug nuts.

Sorry have been away and did not get a chance to check posts. The spacers have their own bolts that the wheels would bolt on to. There are holes on the spacer that accommodate for the stock bolts and the stock bolts stuck out too far that they impeded the wheels from being mounted.

If you had searched the topic, you would have seen that 15mm bolt on spacers will not work with '02-up front wheels becuase the pockets in the wheel pad between the spokes is not deep enough.

You can either grind a small amount off the stock studs to clear, or have the wheels machined.

You could also use a 5mm spacer behind the bolt on spacer.

You should have gone with the H&R 15mm spacers. and have your spindle removed and your old ones pressed out and the provided ones (longer) pressed in.

I had this done to my front spindles. i watched it get done and even helped to speed up the process. Its not that hard. they can be pressed out without separating it from the wheel bearing.

Or you can do what synth19 said but from what i have learned on Prime is that you shouldnt use aftermarket lugs on factory rims.

can we just run 25 up front if its lowered with more neg camber. i need spacers from what everyone tells me but want to just run 25 all around if possible since I just had ramon switch the messed up non oem studs up front from them getting cross threaded to the oem ones.

You can run 25mm spacers all around no problem.

Am i gona rub the hell out of my front fenders. I like to keep it even, like 15mm front, then 15 back. So 25 mm is the best for rear so i wana run 25 mm up front. If its just i cant fully turn no big, i dont wana crush my fenders though lol.
