Wheel lock stripped

I ordered a new wheel lock key from McGard because mine was stripped and slipping. I installed the new key on the slightly worn lug and guess what,The new key was now slipping also( ARGHHHH) .I tried using a manual impact driver to no avail. So here is what my solution was and it worked!

You have locks on stock 5 spoke wheels The locks are worth more then the wheels!

I know, The P.O had them on and I was trying to get rid of them before I got a flat or something.

I actually considered doing that as a last resort.

Just put a set on my car this weekend. A bit unnerving with a torque of 80 lbs using locks.. Seemed OK, but still didn't feel too good about it.
I must add, very impressed with the quality of the key and lugs.
