I need to adjust the caster settings on my 91 NSX. The workshop manual page 18-9 explains how to adjust caster, with a good clear drawing, and I can see in principle how it works.

Well I may be daft, but I can't figure out how to actually rotate the cam plate?

It's easy enough to loosen the two nuts, which frees up the whole base of the compliance pivot rod, but there is no obvious point to fit a spanner or socket to rotate the cam itself. The other end of the cam bolt is basically fixed, with no bolt head to work with.

Any clues appreciated !

The eccentric disk (cam plate, as you called it above) has a small hex hole in it. Use a small hex socket to turn(maybe 6mm). It may be stuck and require freeing it up.

No problem MOMSPH go for it, my question has been answered, thanks to LarryB (and greenberet) - it's actually a 5mm hex/allen key slot in the cam plate I hadn't noticed (it's not mentioned in the WS manual).

Good on you mate...I am sill puzzled with my compliance pivot issue.
