I LOVE to Eat good food. I like all kinds of different types of food. You guys should have pretty good taste ( since you guys are nsx owners ) Please let me know your favorites places to eat and if there is anything in particular on the menu thats a must try. So I can check them out. Thanks

If you like steak I would suggest Forbes Mill House in LG never been disappointed. Prefer it over Alexanders and Mortons.

A few weeks ago I had a chance to eat some food from "Off the Grid" which is where food trucks in the city meet at different locations. I had some stuff from Adobo Hobo......awesome!!

Hey where is Off the Grid located? I have never heard of it.

Off the Grid keeps moving. Its about 8 food trucks that park in different spots throughout the city. You follow them by twitter. Checkout their website.

I believe San Francisco has some of the finest dining locations in the United States. (Yes, I lived in Manhattan off and on for years and I had dinner at Charlie O's in Las Vegas when "Wine Spectator" rated it as the top restaurant in the U.S.) San Francisco also has the greatest number of restaurants per capita than any city in the U.S.

Below are some that you might want to investigate in San Francisco:

Aqua
Boulevard
Prospect
Ristobar
Marlowe
Spruce
Coi
Ame
Michael Mina
Quince

Enjoy...

Are you referring to fine dining, casual, or dives with good food?

we really like a couple of restaurants in the sunnyvale area:

kabul
we've been going here for >20 years and still enjoy their food and quiet environment from time to time. my wife (and many of our friends) enjoy the qabili pallaw (roasted lamb under rice, topped with grated carrots and raisins); i usually get the challaw kadu (steamed pumpkin w/yogurt sauce, basmati rice).

and

dishdash
we've only recently found dishdash and really like their approach to *everything*. the mansaf (lamb, yogurt sauce) is *very* good, and from the looks of other diners, so is everything else on the menu. we've observed theirs is a very international and multi-generation crowd, they welcome families and make good use of their indoor / sidewalk seating.

You really can't go wrong with one of the highest rated restaurants in San Francisco... Gary Danko.

If you're in Berkeley, don't forget to check out Chez Panisse. Alice Waters pioneered California Cuisine.

I ate at Zero-Zero on Sunday night. One of the best places I've eaten in a bit. Then again, Tres Agaves was unreal too!

I go to House of Prime Rib Every month, I just love it. I went to Medallion Steak house In Burlingame about 2 weeks ago and it was ok. Great location and Enviroment but nothing to praise about. Than I went to Sundance Steak house last weekend. I didnt like thier prime rib at all. But again nice Enviroment and Location.
I also went to Mingalaba Burmese Restaurant in Burlingame Ave. Great food. A Must Try!!
I eat out often. So I am sure I will eventually try out All the places you guys suggest thats good. Keep em coming. Thanks

Every spring the folks at the Chronicle put together their list of the top 100 restaurants in the SF Bay Area (click here for this year's list). They've also published articles about how some folks make it their mission to dine at all 100 every year.

I've been to nine of those on the SFGate list, and five of the Michelin star winners. Not bad considering my relative infrequency of travel to the area (maybe once every other year).

For those who enjoy such lists, here are two more covering more than the Bay Area. Restaurant Magazine, in conjunction with San Pellegrino, publishes an annual list of the top 100 restaurants in the world (click here), including three in the Bay Area. And Forbes Travel Guide (formerly the Mobil Travel Guide) awards stars to many restaurants nationwide, with two in the Bay Area among those garnering five stars (click here).

All of them sir. As long the food tastes real good, please advice. Thanks

i dont know if anyone mentioned this yet but intercontinental hotel in san francisco has a pretty swank restaurant

I stayed there last month, the head Chef was an "Iron Chef" if I remember. I went to have drinks/snacks there but everyone had a "stuffy" attitude.

Wound up going to the "Behind the Door" Vietnamese food in the mall, INSANE!
