my selection & another choice worthy of the poll...

hmmm... I choose the Audi A8 for my favourite flagship sedan/saloon. I've always liked Audi's, their balance of luxury/ technology/ performance/ styling. The A8 is the uber-Audi, so it takes the cake! Spaceframe aluminum shell/chassis, robust powertrain, quattro (AWD), sophisticated ergonomics, and clean non-controversial lines... das auto ist sehr gut!

I noticed the Maserati Quattropole wasn't on the list...

yeah I was going to put flagship sedans from Maserati, Buick, Ford, etc, but I could only post 20 cars because that's what maximum number this forum allows me to post.

hmmm... Your variety of choices covers all the major manufacturers top-level sedans. The Lincoln Towncar is Ford's best offering (based off the former Crown Victoria; also redundant to the Mercury Grand Marquis). The Cadillac CTS-V is GM's best offering (Buick is a subdivision of GM, which use to have the Roadmaster, based off the Chevrolet Caprice... Cadillac Fleetwood was also based off the Caprice; Park Avenue Ultra was the most luxurious Buick). The VW Phaeton is from the same platform as the Audi A8 and but differ in styling & mechanicals.

I had to pick the S series Mercedes, but specifically the S600. By reprogramming the computer you have a Viper killer (in a straight line) and all the luxury you can handle.

I put snow tires on mine and it does great in Michigan blizzards and with the heated seats makes a great all year car.

I have owned a '00 BMW M5 and I can say the Mercedes is a much nicer car.

I voted RL but really wanted to vote for The RL and S-Class. Can any one tell me what is up with the side mirrors of the Toyota Century and Mitsubishi Dignity.

hmmm... Man, get tha Oldsmobile Alero outta there!?!

Instead put in Oldsmobile 98 Regency! (btw, it's based on the Chevrolet Caprice) If you really want a high-end Olds', the Aurora is a worthwhile entry.

I know it is not listed.....but I think the BMW M5 should be on there. Sweeeeet!! :D

Is it just me, or does the Toyota Century look like the old Russian Zil or Chaika (can't remember which one it was) limos? Very boring.

Can you really count the Maybach in this poll? Isn't that the only car they make, and it's a very high-end custom car?
Kind of like having the Koeniggsegg representing the Koenigsegg brand in flagship sportscar.

And thePResident is just an OLD Q45, so there are two Qs in the poll.

My vote will go to the RL, LS, or A8. But I'm still a little torn, so no vote from me just yet :)

I hate to sound like Simon Cowell, but they're all boring. I'm just not a sedan person.

Yes, the CLS is very nice but you can't count "the first ever 4-door coupe" in this poll of sedans.
