hey there everyone....yes the title is right, a 2000 Cobra R...you know the ones that were limitedin 2000! I have one rght here in my own garage. am selling this bad boy becasue i have another one. two is just one too many...this one here has only 260 original miles....which was on a track...never drivin on the street unless it was comin off or going on the carrier....this cobra can basically putall challengers t the crner...i have races a 2002 Ferrari Modena with this and it won by a two foot lead...so the ferarri went home in a bad mood. I have also raced corvettes, lambo's (didnt win against the lambo...bt it was close...) and an Acura NSXm which got more than an ass whipping...the NSX had a 1.4 second lead start only b/c i let off the clutch late do to the fact i wasnt paying attn...and all i did was slam it into 2nd and by then i had past it...third gear was like air born.... this car is not street legal obviously. Its been modded pretty big, about $13k invested in it...like forged pistons...forged steel crank...ect.and most of the parts had to custom built becasue they dont make 2000 Cobra R parts too much. it has a full bassani exhasut...with an off-road x pipe...it has tinted windows alos becasue if you have played that game "Gran Turismo 3", the "R" looks awsome...well the price is firm...i have no reason to seel it so if low ball offers is all i get...then i might as well just keep it and race it for fun some more...so e-mail me and make me a deal i wont refuse. i am also throwing in a whole set of four Cobra R rims bt in chrome...honestly i think the R looks better with the stock silver ones....chrome is too flashy on this car but it can look geat. also a catted bassani x-pipe and a computer chip will be added...so u can drive it on the street. the chip in it right now is fr racing only.

Whoever wrote this ad sounds a little like a moron. He says it's barely street legal and then says all it needs is a chip to make it street legal? I don't know but it's still just a mustang, I don't care how modded it is, it's still a mustang. Not that they're bad cars they're just everywhere.

If the NSX was a slow POS, why would he brag about beating one in his ad?

It is only bragging if it means something to beat one. :wink:

No stock NSX is going to win a drag race against a 385 hp. Cobra R, let alone one that has been modded beyond 385 hp. Not to say that this guy owns such a car, but in any case it is a serious track car. I have seen the Cobra R driven at speed at Road America and they are not to be mistaken for the average Mustang.
