Whats better?

my friend and I are having a dispute over which is cooler and to brag anout

and be neutral on your dicision

a ride in an NSX (than you roman!)
or
to sit in a 360?

be honest...I know I am better then him on this subject and that I win...please agree with me that a ride in an NSX is cooler then sitting in a Ferrari 360 :biggrin:

Well, i've done neither...

but i did sit in a 348, and was very underwhelmed. I'd imagine it's more fun with the engine on,

so my vote is a ride in an NSX for me.

well you dont really see that many 360's around.....well LA's the exception but I like both =) ....(nsx gets my vote) =P

Depends which one is rarer in your place. There is only one 360 on the road in my country so i would say sitting in a 360 would be cooler than my NSX. Unless the NSX is the actual JGTC.

Its pretty hard to compare the experience of sitting in a car to the actual feel of being in one thats moving. To sit in either one did not move me in any way so I vote for the drive.

Depends on how long I got to sit in the 360. My imagination could easily take me for a lap around nurburgring in 10minutes :biggrin:

Depending on who is the NSX driver, if the driver have some serious skills and can impress me or give me a ride of my life

Sitting in a car is OK, but getting a ride is far better. If both are cool rides.

Having ridden in both, I would riding in a 360 cooler - if that was an option. Riding in a 360 CS on a track is a big step beyond that.

I got a ride in my friend's Murcielago last week!!!!! That car is just plane evil. And the tubi exhaust.... out of this world. I never though a car could accelerate so fast, thought I actually felt my brain squishing against the back of my scull.

Never thought a car would ever have cowl flaps. :biggrin:

I've done both. And although the 360 is a beautiful car, the interior seems very 'blockish' to me. The creature comforts of the NSX are much better. I remember when I was excited to jump into the 360 then found myself feeling like I was sitting on a bench.

Although a ride (just a ride) in the nsx can prove to be boring too if it's short and extremely uneventful.

I mean, sure you can sit in a supercar...anyone pretty much can...but a RIDE in one is completely different

Sitting in a car still requires your imagination. A car needs to be driven to be experienced. You'd need photos to remember what the Ferrari interior looked like; one cruise in an NSX and you'd never be able to forget.

Lastly there's one more reason: you can NEVER compare sitting in a Ferrari to being in an NSX, thrown back in your seat, hanging ten in the corners with the engine screaming "8000RPM AND I WANNA GO HIGHER BUT SOME IDIOT GAVE ME A LIMITER!!!" right behind you.

Hmmm.... The 355's and 360's that I've driven all redlined at 8500 leaving me with the urge to want more rpms. No comparison

, I'm not so sure that can be said.

Yup, you're right. But the comparison was simply sitting idle in a Ferrari, or being driven in an NSX. That's why there's no comparison (imho)

If I were 12 yrs. old sitting in an F car would probably make my day. But I'm not anymore. I need to drive it.

In fact, when I first sat in an NSX I was unimpressed. Too cramped and molded for me. But I was a big fan of the spartan Porsche interior then. Now I'm a fan of performance. :wink:

I think sitting in a car is well..bleh...I used to ADORE the BMW M5 (E39) and when I sat it in was slightly strilled to be in it...but have I gotten a ride in one IT would of been better. Sitting in an NSX (both seats, yes it makes a difference) was indredible, but when I was offered the ride on RT202 I was estatic. I still think a ride will always beat a sitting anytime.

Whats better?
