What's a good way to sell a Mercedes?

Back in 2002, I owned an 00 MB CLK 430 that I attemped to sell through the local paper and autotrader. I had one hell of a time trying to sell it and eventually wholesaled it to a dealer. It was perfect, so the only thing I could think of was that a 40k used car was a difficult market to tap into.

The reason I ask is that I have decided to sell my wife's 02 ML320 myself since I got an insulting trade in offer from a dealer. I know they lowball in general, but it was far lower than I expected. The one good thing is that I am only trying to get 20-22k for it which is priced very fair between trade in and private value, so I shouldn't have the high priced used car problems, but wanted to see if anybody had any good experiences with any particular sites for MB's. I don't want to waste a lot of money putting it various places that offer little results. Thanks in advance.

www.craigslist.com
I post it there when I tried to sell my parents 98 ML320, Had a few response, but no one ever came out to look at the car. Then because I had to travel to asia for a month, then I took it off from the market.
Have you tried autotrader?

If you have a Carmax close to you it may be worth your time to get a quote from them. Ebay and Autotrader are going to get the most looks if you wanna sell it yourself.

maybe a Local Car-Fourm for your area? Most of the time people that post on those sites are kids with done up civics/nissans.

I was looking for a local forum or a MB forum dedicated to ML's, but only found a general MB that covered every model, so I don't know how many looks it would get. I couldn't find anything local either. I am going to probably put it in autotrader. Anyone used Carsoup.com before? I think my local paper would be worthless, but just guessing.
