What's a good G35 forum? I know some of you guys hang with them...

Rick, I have a buddy who is the G35 God... What year is the G35 and what is your friend expecting from a performance perspective? Or does he want coilovers for the lowered look and OEM ride? Does he have a budget in mind?

Here what my friend replied with:

Tein Basics for daily driver
KW Variant 3 for baller daily driver (I actually have KW Variant 3 on my 540IT and NSX, IMHO they are the best coilovers period. So. I highly recommend the KW's hands down)
Stance LX for agressive daily
Stance GR for entry track
Air Ride for show cars

Mike: Appreciate your super fast response....this is what he told me so far:

2003 G35 Sedan:

He has the Infiniti’s OEM sports suspension package for 2003 with 314/342, which is the current spring rates that he likes the ride quality on the car. The spring rate from Tein CST (Comfort Sport) is 390/390?

His current setup has 18" rims and just lowering springs and wants to be 1 ½ or 2 finger drop both front and back.

Sounds like from your recommendation I should look at Tien Basic coils or the KWV3's if his budget allows....

P.S. I've had KWV3 on my e46 m3, and just ordered them for my IS-F. I plan to use KWV3 on my future s2000 as well.

Please do. I keep looking around and best one i came up with is this cheap rim style.

but I m not a big fan on how it would look yet as it looks cheap to me little.

My car is blk/blk but I am open to any style or color that would look good on the car. I want the concave style if I can find it. I really like the 19' stock oem infinity rims that concave but dont know where I can find a used or new set.
