What Tire Pressure do you all run at?

I was wondering what you all had set for your tire pressures. I know everyones' set up is a little different, but it would be useful to know since everyone is pretty much aware of this.

My tires are at 45 psi with 17” front 18” rear. The Acura dealership recommended 35 and said my inner side was wearing real fast due to the high pressure. I was thinking of dropping the psi but then it would reduce responsiveness.

Tires are Bridgestone Potenza S-03.

I am currently running 32f/34r, also on 17/18's.i know that seems low,but I put a lot of thought into it,and got a recommendation from Ben at daisy auto when he mounted the wheels and tires for me.he is a noted nsx expert mechanic, and recommended somewhere between 32/36,down to as low as 30/32,because I was feeling some ride harshness with the slightly lower sidewalls on the new setup.he felt the lower pressures would allow more compliance and put more tire on the road, and not significantly increase the risk of rim damage from road hazards.this is with tires with stiff sidewalls, and the handling and turn-in are still crisp.if I had tires with less stiff sidewalls,i'd up the pressures a bit.

45 seems way too high.when I had OEM 16/17's,i ran the recommended 33/40 pressures, sometimes a bit higher in the front.

on street tire I run 35/38...

I run 33/40 as per the door sticker on my 92. This is with (original! OEM A022 fronts, and AD08 rears).
The front inner wear is due way more to the toe setting than the pressure. I adjusted my toe settings a couple of years ago and my tires still look new.

I completely agree with cmthomson. I run close to the recommended pressures on the door sticker 33f/40r.
Also 45psi is way too high and it sounds like your dealership knows nothing. When you run your tire pressures too high, the center section of the tire wears more.
The inside of your tires wearing is because of your toe combined with negative camber.

With street tires, I always ran the recommended 33F/40R, measured cold, on the track as well as on the street, and it seemed just fine. When using R compound track tires at the track, I used the pressure recommended by the tire manufacturer (typically 38-40), measured hot.

I typically end up at 34F/36R, or 34/34 (215/40 17" F & 255/25 18" R) with street tires (e.g. Star Spec, NT05), or with semi-race tires (Toyo R888) 30/32 (all hot pressures). For me it depends on the track and need of a little extra rotation, or a little extra high speed stability.

Go hang out at an autocross, you'll learn more than you ever wanted to know about tire pressures and their effects on handling.
