Anyone here have NA2 R suspension or Zanardi suspension that would let me go for a responsible test drive in the Spring? I would like to compare these two in particular.

I'm also curious about the following set ups.

Stock suspension with Type R chassis bars and front sway bar and stock rear sway bar.

Zanardi suspension with Type R chassis bars and front Type R sway bar. Non Zanardi rear sway bar.

Russell,
Daria one of the Club Directors, have Type R suspension on his car perhaps he can provide you with his opinion, and arrange for a test drive.

There are quite a few other guys that have various aftermarket suspension on their cars, I'm sure they can chime in and give you with a ride/drive in the Spring as well.

I know the Type R is VERY stiff, and the Type S is stiffer than the regular NSX, but not as stiff as the Type R.....just my opinion from the limited drive around Suzuka.

Myself, I think that the F/R ratio is more important than that absolute rates.

I looked for something with the same F/R ratio as the NSXR - I ended up with Toda Racings - which were awesome.

I'm now running Tein Mono's with EDFC, front NSX-R Anti Sway, Front, and lower chassis braces I'm pretty happy with the setup. KW's are supposed to be the best thing since slice bread from what I've heard.

Did you see this post? http://nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php?t=153798

Tein Flex with EDFC
NSXR front chassis brace
Dali 1" front and rear sways

I'm liking my setup but its a little bumpy :)

My WRX STI had KW V3's, absolutely loved them to death. Stock they weren't too aggressively valved though - but that made them great for street and a bit of track. A number of resellers take V3's and revalve them, and you can order a variety of spring setups directly from KW (for a pretty penny!) to customize the setup if you're extremely picky. Granted the STI is a totally different kind of performance car, but as a product the KW's are top notch in my opinion based on how they transformed that car!

My NSX came with Tein Type-RA's on it which I believe are 10k front/12k rear - fairly close to the KW V3's rates I had on the STI, albeit less travel now due to my NSX riding much lower than I had the STI. ;) Feel wise, they're razor sharp and still don't hurt on expansion joints.

If you're in the GTA and fancy a trip on the Type-RAs when the weather gets better, let me know - happy to oblige.
