What kind or rear wing is this?

Just saw this picture, and was wondering what type of wing? Definitely would like to get one.

well,
the new wide body kit for the NSX will have the spoiler similar to that, excepts it is extended further out (as far out as the rear bumper) it is part of a 9 piece KIT. But you can use it with your stock body.
will be ready by Mid March.

i love the lack of the huge fender sidemarkers and the ones in the rear quarter panels. makes for a much cleaner, smoother look.

Just took the plunge and purchased the wing. The good people of Comptech Racing were kind enough to make one for the "princely sum" of $500.00; it will take about 3 weeks. It should look good with the WW valance, side skirts, and rear "spats". I'll keep you posted.

I think for $500 you got a great deal. There is not another "different" rear wing out there for that much. The '02 cf layup is the closest, and they were much cheaper than most of the other aftermarket pieces. Good luck, and take pictures.

It will be interesting to see the wing without the rest of the kit. I really wanted to hate the CT widebody kit as I felt it made the car heavier, slower, and didn't look great in pictures. When I saw it in person next too a couple hundred stock NSX's my tune changed. It really does look well proportioned and very aggressive.

Many of the people who saw it at NSXpo agreed as well.

No Barnman, I don't think it's the Aggressor wing, that one I believe is made by wings west for Comptech & from a side profile, it is flush w/ the vertical plane of the tail lights. The wing pictured here actually resembles more the oem wing but is slightly taller & juts out to almost even w/ the rear bumber from the side profile. This is the wing that comes w/ the widebody, but is not advertised as a individual part, which is why no one has ever considered this wing until now, there was an assumption that it only fit the widebody kit.

I thought the same thing as most of you..that it couldn't be used with the stock quarter panels. I think the vertical difference on the quarter panel to the top of the wing may blend in a little better on a black car. I'll be sure to post some pictures when it get done.
