Just had my NSX smogged at test only station. The test weight shown on the receipt was 3250lbs. The tester probably weight around 150~160lbs. I only had half tank of gas.

My NSX is 92 with tools and spare tires removed, bone stock, other than heavy optima battery. I thought it should be less than 3000lbs.

are numbers from smog stations accurate? last time I had my Supra weight in at smog station, it was 200lbs higher than I had expectated.

2800 here with a couple of gallons of gas, no driver, no tools or spare.
No engine cover, light flywheel , no cats, full exhaust system.

I was expecting lower weight than what was on my smog receipt, as I had done these basic weight reduction with no aftermarket stereo or CD changer:

92 NSX 5spd:
curb weight 3010lb
Spare Tire/Wheel ('91-'93) 29.4 lbs.
Air Pump, Jack 9 lbs.
Entire Tool Kit except for Jack 8 lbs

=2963.6lbs

half tank of gas ?lbs

=2913.6lbs

It was off by 180+lbs  , are there any places that I can go and get a more accurate weight in figure.
