Joe:I have the round Dali coolant tank. So far, I have not had any rubbing between the check valve and the tank (I seem to recall having about 5-6 mm clearance). However, the bottom of the tank did press up against some electrical stuff mounted on the engine block (might have been the noise condensor, maybe the EGR, I can't remember exactly and like you, my car is in storage for the winter so I can't check to confirm). I had to enlarge the holes on the tab welded to the coolant tank to allow me to position it away from the device it was pressing against. This interference may only be a problem for the round Dali tank and probably would not occur with the wedge or slab style tank.
