Theres a vacuum hose of some sort that passes right between the coolant tank and a fuse panel. Spliced in the middle of that hose is what looks to be a check valve. Around that check valve, is a small amount of oil. Because im assuming that is a check valve, im assuming that its leaking or not working correctly.

Can anyone tell me what that hose is for, and what that piece is for? Why would it be leaking ? Does anyone know what is the approximate cost of that peice ?

Thanks for the input!

Not Your Car?

Your signature line shows that your NSX is a 2002 model, but I see four things wrong in the picture.

1 - the mesh engine cover provides no means to store the targa.

2 - the strut bar on a targa also attaches to the fore engine bulkhead. The bar in the pictures does not do this.

3 - the 2002 does not use a throttle cable, such as what is shown in the picture.

4 - beginning in 1995 (maybe in 1994) the engine bay cooling fan was deleted, yet the picture shows it on the right.

Andy, Your right, mine is a 2002, BUT since I had no pictures of the engine bay handy, I did a quick search and found that picture of someone elses Nsx. It was only used for illustration purposes !
