I had toyed with idea of removing the bar but with a brand new bumper was reluctant to start hacking (might have been different if I wasn't replacng with new!), so the alternative I think works pretty good - paint it black! It looks even better "in the flesh", pics don't really do it justice - it makes the bar almost disappear. [This message has been edited by D'Ecosse (edited 03 November 2002).]
