I was never a fan of that add on wheel arches look.

Too much 80's if you ask me. :frown:

The rear fender looks a bit like the R8, I also think that the wheel arches are a bit old fashioned.

Cheers,

AR

take a look on the GT-ONE website for their own front wide fender, it looks like it's an oem fender with a fender flare molded on. Not the best look and it doesn't flow IMO.
The rears seem a little less obvious but won't know until it's all one color :)

Hey aren't you selling those wheels?

Looks nice. The rear side scoops are very reminiscent of the Dome GT body. I see your tape lines on the hood, looks like a dual duct (like route ks hood). Or I could be wrong...

Cool project.

Still planing got use the round tail lights?

Thanks guys, the kit is not done yet - everything will be welds on, so no molding on any of the panels.
The whole car is about 10 inches wider than stock NSX, car put down around 450RWHP with low boost right now and when the cosmetic done then I will upgrade the pulley and will be at 500rwhp mark, so its for show and go here
btw, no flare looks for me.
Veleno,
Thanks, but I preferred oem-aluminium fenders. I was selling those wheels, couple interests but never see the $ so I decided to keep them and go with different BBK.
Jeff,
I might go with different tail lights and thanks for the tips of making rear bumper. The tape lines on the hood is just for fun, my actual hood looks better than that and it will be one of the kind.

well if the final product looks as any good as your superb all aluminum OEM type-r hood, then i'll wait with great anticipation... right now with all the different colors, half finished parts, its hard to judge....

Thanks guys, I will upload more pics within the next 60 days so stay tuned. I am thinking about making this kit in fiber glass after nsxpo in Ohio, will see the finished product I guess.

I originally go with the HSC style, but after cutted my door and my 1/4 panel out it didnt looks that good so I changed to different looks and it costs me another door and times to making new 1/4 panels from scratch.
Thanks for all the complements and supports, now I wish I have a stock NSX to drive around-------and the blue 02+ in the pic is not mine.
This project is dragging a bit longer than I wanted, but I will get it done soon and wont over_do the looks of the NSX.
For you guys that wanted my Type R style hood please be patience with me, I need to get my car done first.
To TY- I modified every pieces of the panels on my car so I will make myself a set of side mirrows.

This would be the kind of fenders I would love to have. Wider stock looking and still able to fit with other OEM parts like the rear bumper, valance, 02 sideskirts and front bumper.

I like where this project is heading, doesnt destroy the overall clean look of a stock NSX. We need updates:biggrin:
