What are you guys paying for insurance on your NSX?

Uh-oh.

I smell the Forums Nazi coming around the corner.

I am paying only $605.80 a year for full coverage through Allstate. Of course this is my weekend car that I am suppose to drive less than 4K miles per year 8^)

$700 for 6 months for a '87 MR2 and a '94 NSX.
The NSX is designated as my weekend car. I am 24 years old.
Through my 9 years of driving, I've never filed any claims or been in any accidents.
I use Allstate the last 6 years.

Insurance prices vary based on driving record, age, state, city, neighborhood, etc. The best way to find out how much insurance will cost you is to call your insurance company and ask, or try getting a quote from Insweb.com. You can do this at any time, even before you actually buy one.

Also, there's a good article about buying automobile insurance in the new (October) issue of Consumer Reports.

Based on his insurance rates, I bet BostonNSX has at least two, maybe three of the following four conditions:

- a state with high insurance rates
- lives within the city limits of a major city
- age under 25
- driving record with at least one ticket or accident

I think my NSX daily driver is running me about $700 a year for full coverage w/300K property damage 500k liability & $500 deductable.
Of course that is after:
Good Driver discount
Multi-car discount
non-smoker discount
long time customer discount
homeowner same insurance carrier discount
passive restraint discount

I think that about covers it for discounts.
