Here is a quick recap of my first day around town with the NSX.

1. Is that a feiro??

2. Two pieces of WHITE-TRASH in a riced out civic drove by and both gave me the finger! They then proceeded to throw a half empty beer can to the side of the street.

Guess that is what I have to look forward to!

Welcome to the jungle!

Well at least the female C5 owners will give you a nice welcome wave...as they often mistakenly think you're another C5.

Just remember...you really bought this NSX for you...not for anyone else.

I wouldn't put up with that crap, if I were you. I think you should just sell the car (to me) before you get too attached to it!!

Drive slowly... give them all more time to look, and by driving slowly, they'll just have to wonder rather than asking "How fast is that thing" ....

as a fellow Iowan I can assure you your car will either go un-noticed ( a Corvette?) or be the subject of disdain by the less enlightened (and jealous). Just remember who you bought it for, and occasionally roadtrip to K.C., Mpls. or Chicago. Better yet, take it up to Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI where our machine is worshipped like a Pagan god. Welcome aboard!

Hi I just got my 91 red/black 44,000 miles. I can say that I have had nothing but great responses about my car. Some people in my neighborhood who never spoke stopped and asked if the car was mine, then drooled over the car, then drove off in a mustang 5.0

hmmm... I get nothing but thumbs up. Must be the friendly Lancaster county Amish influence.... or the fact that I'm older. Yikes!! I hope thats not it.

I've had mine 2 years now, and all I get are positive results from strangers. Coming back from a visit in Oregon, 2 chicks bared their breasts to show their appreciation. I've been asked if my car was a Lamborghini. Remind me to stay away from Lousiana. My asthma doesn't like the humidity either.

it really amazes me .... when young children see a NsX and can not only identify it but can tell you what the MSRP is and others cant tell weather its a 3000gt or a firebird.
