Show of hands...how many of us drove our cars today to honor his memory?

I just got done watching my DVD of the movie Senna.

Just as in the first time, and the second, and now the third time watching, I am in awe. I felt a range of emotions. After parts of the movie I wished it this was a track day weekend where I could go out and put my car and myself on the limits. After other parts of the movie I questioned why ever again I would want to get in the car and drive at speed.

Powerful presentation of his life, powerful life. Life well spent, tragically shortened. Sigh.

RIP Senna.

I wish the movie showed more of his compassionate side. When he jumped out of his car to help Erik Comas, the meetings he had with Jackie Stewart about improving safety, his foundation in Brazil that has helped hundreds of thousands of children, etc.

Just saw this tonight. very interesting.
