Water vapor from vents

I was driving on a 75 mile drive (freeway) with my A/C on, vent in fresh mode with temp set at around 67 degrees. Half way way into the drive, I suddenly noticed white vapor blowing through the air vents. I'd never seen anything like this! I kept fan going but turned off the A/C and the white vapor subsided. A minute later, I switched the A/C back on for the duration of the trip and no problems. What was this? Anything to worry about?

I discovered that it was just condensation. I drove though an area that may have been more humid and the air from the outside was condensing inside the car. Cool effect though! Just never saw this happen before.

Hi Vytas,

Yeah, after living in Florida for 7 years and Mississippi for 3, that vapor thing happens all the time with the A/C on. Doesn't happen too often here in California with the lack of humidity.

Hope to see you at the next meeting.
