My NSX-T is an 03 model. It has 41500K miles on it. Should I do the timing belt. Apparently according to Acura it should be done at 6 years or I think 70/90K miles. In a nutshell my cars not done the KMs/Miles but has passed the recommended time frame? Can someone with more experience with these cars let me know if I should get it done. How much is it gonna run me (ball park figure)...if TO area owners can maybe refer me to one of their trusted mechanics it would be great as well.

Yes, it time to get your T/B and H2O pump...it a time thing with these belts.

NSXCC Members get 20% off parts and labour from our sponsoring dealerships (Acura of Oakville & Erin Mills Acura)

Ball park numbers would be about $1200-$1400

instead of starting a new thread i will ask on this one. my car died on the freeway. wouldn't move after a red light. its definitely the clutch. possibly cracked flywheel from over heating leading to failure. anyways, whats the going rate labor wise for the install of a new clutch? can they be rebuilt? car got flat-bedded to the dealership right before they closed. i will have the oem clutch but it already slipped a few times on the previous owner so its probably not a good idea to reinstall it. anybody have the SOS sport clutch on their ctsc nsx? should i just get a new oem one? Thanks

Guys, Chris at SOS would be able to provide any information on the Sport Clutch...most of the reviews I have read were all positive, and it can support the output of an SC.

A clutch replacement is approximately 8 hours to RR, so based on the hourly rate of the dealership this is what you are looking at, as far as labour cost.

If you have to replace the flywheel on the 97-2005 cars, these are very expensive, ~$2K plus the cost of the Clutch.

We get 20% off parts and labour from our sponsoring dealership.

Hopes this helps.

Thanks for the reply bram. kind of what i expected.

When I bought my ex-imola it was a 2002 with 9,199 miles but in 2008 met the years criteria so I had both the water pump and timing belt done.
