Happily this did not happen to my NSX, but it did happen to my Integra (No, I did not do it). The sunroof was left open in the rain and the seats got soaked. When they dried they shrunk and got very stiff. I am putting the Zymol leather treatment on them, but it does not seem to be helping much. Does anybody have any experience (NSX-T's?) with this type of problem and what did you do?

There was a write-up in an old NSX Driver about a product called Leatherique. You removed your seats, applied the product and let the leather sit for some time while sealed in a large plastic bag. The result was supposed to be softened leather. Perhaps you could search the FAQ for Leatherique or try to find a website thru Google. I may be spelling the name wrong so try a few variations.

Well, the quickest and easiest thing to try first is to take the name, and put it between www. and .com and see what happens... You might want to try that first. ;)

So far I have heard that Leatherique and Neatsfoot oil will do the job. Is there anything to justify the 10x cost difference? Curious minds and uncomfortable bottoms want to know.
