I am looking for a 91-93 5-speed silver NSX with under 60k miles. It must have no performance mods and preferably factory from top to bottom. Must have complete documented service history, all mechanical issues resolved (e.g. snap ring) or at least documented, and pass a thorough inspection. Preferance given to single owner car.

I'm located in Atlanta, but am willing to travel anywhere in the country for the right car at the right price.

I'm ready to buy now with cash in hand, but will wait up to several months if necessary to find the car that fits my description.

Any leads appreciated.

Gordo, there is an ad in the local so-cal paper for a '92 silver/black for 32K OBO. Ad doesn't have mileage, but says car is very clean and well maintained. Only mods listed are '98 wheels. Says he needs to sell fast.

You can find the ad at:
www.recycler.com
go to auto ads and type in acura nsx under search

or here is the contact info:

By the area code, it is in the Los Angeles basin area.

Good luck and have fun!

Thanks for the lead.

I called the guy (Bob) and it turns out that it's an automatic with 71k miles on it. He's the second owner, says it is in pristine condition and has been religious about service and records. Sounds like a great car for anyone looking for a 91-93 automatic.

Hey Tim,

I've spent more than my share of time on autotrader and ebay. :) That collector car trader is an intersting site, though it seems as if they scour the net for listings themselves and repost them (?). I called about a couple, but they were already sold. I'll continue to watch that site though as they may pick up on ones that I miss.

Thanks again.

Wow, just when I thought I'd found all sources of NSXs, this is yet another one that I didn't know about. Sounds like a great car he has for sale there, but at around $38k, I think it might be a bit on the expensive side for my taste. Sounds like a real collector car though. I'll see what he says.

Thanks, Jordan.
