I am willing to pay up to 30k cash for the following: I prefer

- Southern California car
- Original owner - fat chance, but hey..
- Not salvaged or have any engine or body damage..ie...accident..flood...stripped..etc.. except from normal wear and tear.
- body pannels must line up
- no orange peel or signs of repaint - all original paint
- compression check must be excellent
- no mechanical probems at all..I do not want to have to fix anything
- Modifications are a plus - 2002 update
- black on black is a plus
- 5 speed
- all typical NSX problems..ie..window reg, timing belt, snap ring, a/c..etc..all taken care care of

Thanks...

Is that car registered here in the US?...and what would need to be changed in order for it to be like the USA model...cost?..parts..etc

The only differences are that the speedometer and trip meter are in Kilometers (speedo goes to 300) and the climate control is in Celcius instead of Fahrenheit. The car has been inspected and approved by California DMV. Although the car was manufactured for Canadian sales it has spent all it's life in the US. I have a letter from an Acura Division head that states the US and Canadian cars are identical except for the above mentioned items.

I've got a 93 for sale. 75,000, new clutch, new plugs, new tires. Everyting is clean on this car, no kidding. Always garaged. Runs like a NSX. You can have her in showroom condition for $29,999. 951-258-5609

...good catch...my mistake....if you have a 2002 update..then original paint is not required..

..anyone have opinions on buying a Canadian car thats registered here in the US?...

..a guy selling a 92 w/ 9XXXX miles claiming he's the original owner...but carfax says in 2003 a new owner was reported.. also in California..you're supposed to smog the car every 2 years....the last 2 times..it was every 3 years...plus smog would only go back to 99...not a big deal..just interesting..any thoughts?....thanks btw!..
