Just got a 95 - has a CD changer in trunk - but it it not tied down (no mounting brackets). Tried to order OEM bracket kit at dealer - no luck. I want to mount a Phatbox in place of the CD Changer and use OEM brackets.

Does anyone have a lead on parts for this - used or new? I know I can fab one myself - but would rather use OEM version if I can find one.

Please send private mail and ball park price if you want to part with yours. Or any leads for web purchase from retailer.

thanks........Irving.

CD changer bracket kit 08B11-SL0-200
Expect to get boned for ~$90

I have one (in my car) that I don't really use, if you want to borrow it so you can copy it, be my guest. I got a PIE adapter that I put in my trunk. It allows me to just plug-in to the end of the factory CD cable and then connect to my iPod.

For about $75 USD I get to listen to my iPod where i set up playlists 1-6 that I access from my stock head as CD 1-6

Awesome, cheap, and the sound is WAY better than the radio, or CD - its like i upgraded the speakers - but I didn't!

Thanks for offer to copy - will maybe do that if I can't buy the factory unit complete.

I know what you mean re the sound - the Phatbox system is 120Gb hard drive playing WAV and FLAC files or my CDs - thru good electronics into the head unit. Have one in my Vigor already - it is like getting a full speaker upgrade - amazing sound.

Its a gotta have for this car now - so second install is happening and I'm collecting all the parts.

How much is the Phat Boy? How do you load ur music onto it?
Maybe I should consider it...

price is not low - about $990 USD plus shipping etc for the biggest capacity version (120Gb) The 60 and 80 Gb units are cheaper.

The HD is like one of those 8 Track cartridges - it un-plugs from trunk mounted 12V Linux box - and you jack it into a little USB connected docking station at your PC. It comes with very cool ripping and tag edit SW for he PC. Also - it does text to speech over the car speakers then you navigate for artist , track, album etc. - eyes stay on the road. You rip on the PC.....and can play on PC too if you have a duplicate copy of audio files on a local disk. You cann see SW GUI here too....even try for free.
