Vid: Wasps Vs. Bees

30 against 30,000? Those are some bad add hornets.

non of ur bee'sness :-/

hmmm, I wonder w/ the change of the NorthAmerican bee population towards the africanized-bees... how the hornets would fare?

Nonetheless, sheer gruesomeness & savagery is all a part of MotherNatures game.

That was really interesting DeNguyen... thanks for posting.

The next time a bee stings me I wonder if I'll feel compassion for it.... nah.... :p

I not sure if I'm correct on this but I think most regular honey bees can only sting once... Their stingers have hooks that penetrates the skin and locks in... If the bee flys off the stinger will stay and it's very possible that the bee's guts, internals and such would be pulled out becuase the stinger are still stuck in the skin.

But 30 vs 30,000 is just crazy!!! I guess if the bees are smarter and can plan out strategies they'll have no problem defending their hive but judging by the video they're just going few at a time against the hornet instead of in swarms...
