Does anyone have experience with this tire combination for the track?
The car is a stock 92. Many thanks again!

Kumho Victoracer 700: 225x50x16 front, 275x40x17 rear.

I check the FAQ and it seems the ratio is o.k for TCS.

I don't like that front size ,too tall, 225/45/16 would be better.

225 45 size

Hello DocJohn,

Thanks for replying to this and other posts. Yes, I would like t 225x45x16 or 225x40x16 also. Unfortunately I could find the Victoracer in either of those size at TireRack. Do you happen to know of any other place that might have them? Thanks.

I don't know off hand what options you have in that size for track tires.I gave up on the stock wheels for the track for just this reason, not enough choices for the fronts. If money is a concern you might try looking for a pair of used wheels for the front only in 17/7-8 inches so you could expand your option.Having diferent wheels front to back may look strange, but for the track only I've seen stranger things!

Try the Kumho V700 in 205/45/16 and 245/40/17. You'll like them! I currently run the V700 in 205/40/17 and the Victoracer in 255/40/17. I like them much better than wider tires that I tried. I also have a stock suspension.

S.L.
