I'm not sure about the information that the service history has been mislaied and milage can't be guaranteed. The car stays in Toulouse?

I'm probably being stupid but how can a W reg car be a '97 Simon:redface: ? Is it a US car - I noticed the Acura badge...seems strange it was shipped to the UK, and then ends up in France being sold by a English bloke??

It is a US car (Acura), it all depends what SVA could establish about the cars date of manufacture etc and if they went on the date of first UK registration rather than date of manufacture etc.

I have seen 4th Generation Preludes on a UK 51 plate as they could not work out year of manufacture so registered them as new on date of import (4th gen preludes stopped being made on a UK P plate).

Personally I don't think I would buy it but would maybe be good for someone else.
