Vegas June Meet

Hello all!

Just getting over the sun burn/ frost bite from this past weekend! Our next meet will be on June 10 (Sunday). Suggestions for activities appreciated. Maybe we can discuss a SoCal trip, maybe even a group of us going to the October 20 Honda ALMS gathering at Laguna Seca. Dan and Crystal (HotWls), our friends from Utah will be driving there. Maybe we can have Findley Acura host our next meet (Brian?)

I would definitely come to all the vegas meets if I were closer. :biggrin:
 
Yeah, I look into Findley Acura. I want to see what other Acura dealership options we have. I've had it with the Acura of Las Vegas guys. Apparently as we were leaving one of those numbnutz mutters "now we can finally get back to work" under his breath. Hmm last I noticed the place didn't seem to have much activity before or after we got there. They can take their pompus attitudes and fake tans and shove it their a$$e$. I get the feeling the guys at Findley Acura will be much more accomodating.

It was still very generous of them to host the Legends and us at the same time. Hopefully, it was just a simple misunderstanding.

I have to agree with Bryan, I don't like how Falconi's been treating our NSX meets. They never open up an area for us to park, they just throw us on the side.

Anyways... summer is coming up... anyone have access to Lake Mead? Some boats and jet ski's? I have one boat (holds six people comfortably) and one jet ski. :biggrin:

That's good, that should make them hungry for any publicity. I vote for Findley Acura in Henderson for June meet. I'll call them or stop by to set something up. What day is our meet this time? Sunday? 10th?

Any chance we can do the 3rd as the 10th doesn't work well for me.

Findley Acura has already done a fair amount of work on my NSX. They already know my car, and me as one of their customers. Brian; perhaps we could meet there some morning and have a chat with the service manager about our club. Send me a PM if you would like to do this.

Actually, would Saturday the 9th work? Most everyone here can do either Saturday or Sunday.

I would think the sooner we met with them the better. There is always the possibility they won't be receptive to being involved with the club. I think we need to have a coordinated approach; a mutually agreed upon planned presentation that will serve as their introduction to the LV NSX Club.


Edit: Another suggestion for a meet would be to have an "MR" platform meet. This could include Lotus, NSX, Italian Exotics, Toyota MR2s, etc.

Saturdays works for me cause I'm off work and can spend most of the day out. Sundays is hard cause I have to be at work by 3pm.

Let me know where we can meet for this Saturday for the drive to Findley.
