As I was speeding thru the auto magazine section of the local book store, I picked up a July issue of a magazine I never saw before, called Performance Auto & Sound (www.pasmag.com) and in the first quarter of the magazine was an advertisement that pictured a BLACK convertible NSX. I was in such a hurry, that I can't remember what product it was advertising, but did notice it said, NSX provided by Vanilla Ice...Check it out, and NSXPrime, make a note of this. The magazine is a Canadian publication...Aloha, Jerry from Honolulu.

I believe Vanilla Ice had it painted white.

Anyways, they show it for a few seconds when they did "Behind the Music: Vanilla Ice" on VH1.

Yea, I saw that too, but I was just flipping past the station when it came on. Really, I wasn't watching the Vanilla Ice Behind the Music, Really!!!!

ALL of you must be right! SORRY! At the time of writing/posting, ICE-T just didn't sound right...Thanks for the correction.

I am sure Vanilla ice could afford a new NSX. Even though he made an ass out of himself he still made a lot of money. He laughed all the way to the bank.

I think after getting his ass kicked by Todd Bridges on Celebrity Boxing, Vanilla Ice can finally disappear in complete humiliation

One question though, my understanding is that he bought a car with Ivory interior and painted the car white, wouldn't it have been 'better/easier' to get the white car and then "white-out" the interior?

Maybe I am just confused on that all together ... heh.

To answer a few questions that arose.......
First, Jonathan asked why he didn't just buy white and change the interior. Answer. White wasn't available in 91. And also, someone mentioned that Vanilla Ice couldn't afford a 2001 NSX when referring to Ice-T's NSX. Well, Ice-T's NSX is a 94, I believe. Whatever year it is, it's an older coupe with the convertible conversion. He's had that plate at least since 1998 that I've seen.
