Vancouver NSX in accident?

One truism about driving is that when the roads are dry, most people underestimate safe speeds, so that they could safely be driving faster than they actually do - but when the roads are wet, most people overestimate safe speeds, so they shouldn't be driving as fast as they actually do.

Hey, I bought my NSX when I was 18, and I still have it to this day ... 8 years now.

Age doesn't always = stupidity ...

Doesn't say much for this particular incident though...

You have to ask yourself what any self-respecting NSX pilot would be doing racing a S2000 anyways.

Age might not always = stupidity, but I'll bet you there are way more stupid young folk than stupid old folk.

But its also possible that old folk have done stupid things with cars when they were younger... but not with an NSX!!!!

No 18 year old can buy a NSX unless he is some sort of genius or an entertainer...

Are you a genius or entertainer?

Geez this is only about 60mph - not really that quick. I bet the cars were only lightly damaged.

I dunno, how about me? Recently I had some yahoos in an S2000 harrying me so I took a turn I know well near the limit. I enjoyed their wild skid and counter skid in my mirror!

Maybe the stupid ones kill themselves off (as these two tried) before they reach old age.. Didn't Darwin write something about that?

Lets not forget the 'Spoiled Child' syndrome... which goes along with the rich mommy and daddy syndrome as well. Down here in Louisiana, 18 year old kids are paying $400.00+ for insurance on Civic Si's. I dread to think what an 18 year old kid would pay for any year NSX. At 31 years of age, I pay $205.00/month with State Farm, and I have max coverage on every aspect.
