Hello Everyone,

I keep searching for deals and info and feel I am stuck. Sandra and I have some time off this month and I want to take her on a trip. We have time from April 27th-May 3rd. For sure it has to be a beach. I thought of Hawaii as I have never been and someone at cars and coffee mentioned there are some great deals to go there right now. Any suggestions because I am stumped?

Thanks,

Nik

It all depends on how far you want to go? Philippines (Boracay is a great place), Hawaii, Florida (spring Break), or Europe. But hey if you do not want to travel that far i know Mandalay Bay has a great beach and i am sure you can probably get a locals discount..........

The cruise industry is hurting, those big boats float empty or full, so there are lots of deals to be had.

I've done two week long cruises in the last six months, both under $500 per person for a 4.5 or 5 star boat.

Check out vacationtogo.com for the latest last minute bargains, they have a great search engine.

I haven't checked recently, but the last time Hawaiian Airlines had roundtrip flights to Oahu for $350, but I believe you had to leave on a Thursday and come back on a Sunday. I would check their rates regardless to see what they have to offer...

My favorite hotel's the Sheraton Waikiki...=)

Airfare Las Vegas - Cancun is $300 on Mexicana Airlines. Cancun has great hotels on the beach, but is a big place. If you take a bus a couple of hours south to Akumal, it is much more laid back.

St Petersburg FL has great beaches too, and is a good place to relax. You fly Southwest into Tampa.

Call me if you have questions. Lorelle and Lance

Looks like Sandra does not have a passport. Thank you for all the input. I am leaning towards Hawaii. We will be getting her a passport so we can visit abroad. Anyone know a good local travel agent?

Nik,
Use AAA. there is a office on W. Charleston & Valley View.
3312 W Charleston Blvd
Las Vegas, NV 89102
(702) 870-9171

I used them for our trip to Italy. $630 R/T Las-Rome-Las.
The can get discounts on a wholesale basis on hotels you cannot get on the www no matter how hard you try. It's a no-brainer. let them do the work and you kick back and get the discounts.

BTW: Southwest Airlines does not fly to Hawaii........Yet!

Do they have plans too?

We will take over the world, fly in like locust and leave no crumbs.
Beware ye olde legacy carriers, your demise is near....
