After some observation of the limited room in the spare cubby hole, I'm curious if your running 18/19 wheel combos and have a flat will and 18"f or 19"R wheel/tire even fit in place of the spare. Has anyone had this misfortune yet. I just can't see it happening.

In the trunk, you can fit one of your wheel.

AAA

on your lap.
or how about on the engine cover, with the glass up!

Well it seems theres no real good answer except removing the spare and bracket assm. shedding a small amout of weight. Guess I buy some fixaflat and a small plug repair kit and call it a day.

There is an answer. Even if you have 18"/19" wheels, the spare tire will still work, as long as you don't have larger aftermarket brake calipers. And regardless of your wheel size, the spare compartment won't fit ANY regular size tire. The car is designed so that when you use the spare, you put the regular tire you remove into the trunk, not under the hood. Any NSX front tire will fit into the trunk. The NSX rear tires in the stock sizes will fit, too; if you have aftermarket rear wheels and/or non-stock-size rear tires, fitting in the trunk depends on the size. As an alternative, you should be able to fit any size tire upright on the passenger seat (as long as there's no passenger there, of course). If you depend on doing this, you may want to bring an oversized plastic garbage bag in your trunk so that you don't get your seat dirty if you have to resort to this.
