I had purchased this Tilton Lightweight Flywheel (I believe it is 7.8lb) from the user "Attitude Adjuster" from this forum about 2 months ago with plans to install it in my car with either a Center Force or ACT clutch. I got a good deal on a Exedy clutch which uses a proprietary flywheel and the Tilton is not usable.

Attitude Adjuster sent me a good condition flywheel with a used Center Force clutch that has a broken spring.

I'd like to sell it all for the same cost I purchased it for, which is $250. I live in the San Francisco bay area, local pick up is prefered.

How many miles are on it? I know clutches go bad, but, without sounding dumb, can a flywheel go bad just from wear??

I'm very interested though as this is a mod that I MUST do with my stock clutch going on me! Email me pics at [email protected]

Thanks

Mr Foyo emailed me stating that he had a 2 mechanics inspect the photos I provided. According to him, it is in good shape. The photos make the part look very dirty, I think that is minor considering there doesn't seem to be any noticeable wear. I've been hesitant to touch the parts too much since I wasn't ready to install them yet.

awesome, well if you could send me the pics, i'd be willing to overnight the money tomorrow. Also, how used up is the clutch? Think it could last a couple thousand miles without slipping?

The clutch is probably not worth installing. You can ask someone to verify that by observing the pictures I've provided. See above URL.
