If you were considering the purchase of a used NSX with nitrous, what might you do differently when looking at the car or having a PPI done? Anything you'd pay particularly close attention to? Any telltale signs to look for?

Thanks in advance.

P.S: I can't believe this wouldn't be a commonly asked question, but I did a search and couldn't find anything. My apologies if this is a frequent repost.

I would have to say that once I heard that the vehicle had/has nitrous on it, I'd wait around for another vehicle. Perhaps technology has changed since early 90s, but after 7 or 8 shots of 150hp on my '90 Corvette, the car wasn't the same. Just my .02

Good luck, RJ

Why do you ask? Are you really interested in that silver one from Maui?
 Dude, that's creepy. You following me around the Internet? I guess it's obvious when I use the same name everywhere.

Yeah, I was interested in the silver one on Maui. You have any story on that car?

Ive been running NO2 on my 91 for about 6yrs. 125 shot. I have 160,000+ miles on the car and have never had a problem as far as the engine is concearned. I do have a few oil leaks now but that is do to a crappy job by the dealership that did my 120,000 tune up. They refuse to claim responsibility for it, but it never left a spot in my garage until I got it back from them.

zff, good questions, but perhaps you ought to post them in the FI forum where all the FI nuts hang out.
