Anyone watch Saturday's game? Scary finish, but the right team came out on top...one for the ages! :D

Fight on, Trojans!

Winners always want the ball...

The most nerve-wracking play was the 4th & 9 in the final minute when Leinart connected w/ Jarret for 61yards. And the goal-line decision to go for it w/o a time-out & not spiking the ball...

So far so good, atleast for an USC - UTexas RoseBowl showdown!?!
(my ol' hometown vs. my new hometown)

UCLA will be a big test for the Trojans, that's the one I'm concerned about. Olsen has become a solid leader for the Bruins, and they believe they can win anytime, anywhere...

The Trojans' got a REAL reality check, they need to shape-up. Every offensive drive matters. Keyword: drive! Quick scores or 3 plays and out keep their own defense on the field much longer, potentially wearing them out...

Go SC'!!!

For a number one ranked team SC should have dominated ND. Both SoCal teams barely won thier respective games. Exciting finishes and wins none the less.

USC has looked vulnerable and at times soft, to several mid-level opponents thus far. In the end, they are winning though... for which they deserve credit.

UCLA appears to be the lone threat remaining in their regular season path.

Yeah, it's amazing how long our defense can stay on the field and still hold opposing teams late in the game. Our offense is too quick for its own good sometimes...but that was the one thing that gave me hope when they took possession down by three with 2 minutes left in the game.

Scott, I watched the second half of the UCLA game too...was bummed to see the comeback, but knew they would win in OT. If UCLA AND USC remain undefeated, Dec 3 will be a very interesting day. I hope I get to go to that game! Nothing more scary than watching a cross-rival with nothing to lose and everything to gain enter a game with confidence of repeat come-from-behind victories.

Anybody watch the Oklahoma/Kansas game? What a nail biter!

I'm not worried at all about 'SC... as long as Leinert doesn't get injured/shaken-up, Bush is on the field w/ White. It's a no-brainer that the offense has to maintain possession & work some of the clock down the stretch in the key Pac-10 matchups. This Trojan squad is the only team in a long-time that I've seriously felt can win ANY game regardless of what the opponents score or are ahead by. It's just plain awesome. . .

The PennState-Michigan game was like a heavywieght boxing match... both teams performing well on both sides of the ball, giving it all at eachother! I really wanted JoPa and the Lions to run the table this year - but this might be a blessing in disguise, those fab' freshmen can feel the agony of such a defeat early in their careers and only get better...

Am I the only one who feels that UF was more intimidating, wild, and dangerous when Zook was around? Meyer hasn't done much w/ what he has to work w/, same ol' ideology... wait till my boys/recruiting class settles in?!?

Howabout my alma-mater Pitt layin' the smackdown on USF...

HAIL TO PITT!

Will this victory go down in history because of Leinart's winning drive or the questionable Bush Push? Leinart seemed to be having an off day...and it definitely took a bit of luck to actually win the game.

I would have hated to be an Irish fan who stormed the field at what appeared to be the end of the game.

L.A. Times reported that "ten schools ranked in last week's Harris poll top 25 won or lost in the last 1:18 or less."

That's a lot of nail biting. Crazy

I think the outcome stinks.
Notre Dame deserved that win.
USC sux

Yep, USC sucks alright ....Isn't that like 28 in a row?

It was a great game and it just goes to show that when it is money time, Leinart is there. He will cash in big time next year.

Nah, I don't mean they're not good...they are.
I mean is "sucks" that they always come out on top, even when they should have lost. Also, they have a much easier schedule every year than teams in the SEC or ACC.

run the tables, it's all good...

What's better to have...

1-2 elite teams & a handful of good teams in a conference...

-or-

2-3 great teams & the rest mediocre at bests' in a conference...

Going by your opinion: 'SC, OU, Nebraska, Miami {while in the BigEas(y)t} aren't worthy of their recent championships.

Big10 is the toughest, each team comes to play... no gimmicks. (BTW, I hate the Big10, lol)
