Can someone please suggest what could be wrong with my high light? The beam has a dark "dead" spot projecting out on the driver's side. I've reseated the bulb thinking that it may not have been sitting flush, but all was okay when I removed it and put it back in. Light has been this way from the time I purchased the car about 6 months ago.

Is there a black spot anywhere on the bulb or within the projector housing? It could also be distortion in the glass, but the only way to check is to replace the entire housing.

After intense scrupulation of the shadow, it seems that maybe Gossamer is stuck in your light.

LOL... at first I thought ET's head was stuck in my highlight housing. I'll try swapping the highlight bulbs left to right and see if it follows. I was hoping someone else has had the same problem and could shed some light.

The housings look clean when viewed from the front... also no discoloration on the bulb when I pulled it the first time to check, which is why this has me confused.

I replaced the driver's side highlight bulb with one that I had lying around and the problem has been resolved. :)

thanks for your input.
