I figured we had all the other unofficial threads, might as well start this one. There are quite a few widebody kits on nsx's these days, now they ALL have a place to go and share. This is my 2000 silverstone with the Cantrell Gt Series kit from SOS. I just got it back from the shop June 30th after 6 months! The body shop here did a great job. Thanks goes out to SOS(chris and seth), Len3.8, SJS, nsx01, NO TKTS and the sunday night chat crew.

Your car looks totally smokin'!! I can't wait to see it when you get the new wheels and coilovers! It'll be totally over the top!

Nice looking cars.
The Silverstone will be sweet when he is finished.
The Body shop did an excellent job with the Fit and Finish.
I can't wait to join you all.

Again, Nice.

Question for you widebody owners.

How strong are the Fiber Glass pieces?!...I love the look but worry about the hassels of driving the car around.

The Sorcery ones are quite strong. I had my female friend sit on the fender and it holds. Too bad they don't come with fender liners.

The GT Series pieces are strong. I havent had any problems so far. I was on the highway the other day and soe ones's tie came off!!!!! One piece hit my front fender and got now damage! Lowering the car had more worries for me than the fibrglass pieces.

Ko-nsx, you need to drop that thing. Or as we say in the F-Body crowd, stop running 4x4. Nice wbk, where did you get the hood tho I've found ones like it but there all carbon fiber.

Very nice work 97widebody! I see we have the same taste in widebodies.

How come you didn't do the wing?

Those are 19", 20" rims? What size tires front and rear?

Droool... nice picts Kelly. First time I've seen the body in Silverstone. It'll look great with the drop from the TEINs.

Cheers,
-- Chris

I like it too, but I noticed that you don't have the sideskirts that TRM04 has. Did you just not put them on? I think they'll balance out the shape a little better. But overall its pretty sweet.

Alright, we'll add ours to the widebody thread too!

I was just wondering, and I might be crazy but anyway . .. Has anyone ever done just the rear part of the Comptech Bodykit?

I know it sounds weird, but the one thing I felt that separated the NSX from the look of true supercars was the fact that lines of the supercars make the rear look considerably wider than the front. Basically supercars have this big ol' a$$ look and was wondering if just doing the rear wide would give the NSX that same sort of look? What do you think?

Here's TRM04's with the full Comptech kit (front and rear are wide), so you can maybe imagine the front being a little skinnier. What do you guys think?
