Well considering I haven't seen a thread devoted for us Midnight Pearl owners I figured I'd start one:

Here's mine on a recent trip to Holland.... The car was a bit dirty from the trip so no real shine!!

Edit, another pic not long after the 02+ conversion..... mines a 96 Targa UK spec. One day I'll take some decent photos...

Yep, all OEM. Skirts, valence, lights, wheels, brakes, ABS unit etc. Got a 6-speed box with R final drive too. Apart from the 3.2 motor, the window tint (chaged in 97), the gauges face colour change (blue on 02+), Procar hood she's pretty much all changed to the later spec. I was lucky (very lucky in the UK/Europe) to find an 04 breaker a few years ago for parts :biggrin:

Man... how did you get a paint match on those parts? Did you repaint the whole car?

Just the fenders, hood & bumpers were painted. I guess the painter/mixer got the colour spot on. It is imperceptible the colour difference....paint is good. Thankfully!! Was always a bit of a worry.....

I think most here know we have Cody's original 'shop' car, that he painted Midnight Pearl with a matte clearcoat.

Erm, I think I know the colour of my car:biggrin: PB-73P.. Midnight Pearl. The pictures weren't great and the sun doesn't shine as bright over here as you get. Colour just didn't come out so well in pics shown...

It's definitely a tough color to photograph. I'm lucky to have a girlfriend who is good with her fancy Nikon, and also lots of sunshine in California

haha and this is why i hate mac........ i looked at it on my PC and I can see the hint of MP...... wtf? front end looks great. now your homework is to get some better pics! :biggrin:

haha i sold them about 4 years ago. they had a pretty bad curb rash (not my fault) ...... I love my Volk GT-V rims but the up-keep and having to be so vigilant of every pot hole...kind of a PITA. The rear end now has 2002 tail lights... let me find a better pic.
