Ok, in addition to spending time with the great folks who I caravanned with to NSXPO from Orange County, the new faces I met, and the awesome event itinerary the planning committee created, I particularly enjoyed Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch. What a great and plush facility.
This was my 4th track event driving my NSX. All I can say is the more I drive this car, the more in love I become. I pushed it on this track the hardest so far- on street tires as I have always done. While I did experience one on-track spin while entering the chicane a little too hot (my first), the car handled magnificently. I also purchased a set of pix taken by Trackday.net, also a first.
Here are a couple of pix from this amazing 2 days. The non NSX is a Radical, a car owned by Mark Allen and also by a few other track members. Although only in the passenger seat, the ride will be memorable for a lifetime. Post-up one or two of your favorite pix or vids, guys!
My instructor, Frank, was so relaxed during day-2, he decided to shoot some vids. Now that's a sign of approval.
We must have been pulling 4-6 Gs through the turns. What a ride by an accomplished driver!
